During the coming months we are going to experience continued change in almost every area of our lives. As the roadmap out of lockdown unfolds, how will this impact us? How has the last year changed us? How are we going to be different?
From April 11th to July 18th, the themes of our teaching and worship at HSBC are going to help us to reflect on these questions. God is clear – his son Jesus deserves nothing less than our wholehearted worship, living loudly for him in every area of our lives because of who he is and sharing him with those around us at every opportunity. Our Sunday services will encourage and challenge us to live wholeheartedly for Jesus at home, work, play, church, with believers and non-believers, with our families and through the difficulties of suffering, loneliness and disappointment and more. The teaching will involve journeys to 1 Peter, the Old Testament book of Haggai and various other parts of the Bible too.
But the purpose is clear. God’s word encourages us to live for, worship and serve the Lord alone, in and through every facet of life. So let’s help equip one another to do that by hearing the call to be Wholehearted: living for Jesus with all that we are.
