We recommenced holding Sunday services in the church building from the start of September 2020, but the format is quite different from pre-lockdown services as we still need to protect people and comply with Government regulations. In particular people planning to attend either service each Sunday will have to pre-book their attendance via ChurchSuite or by phoning the church office before 4pm the Friday before the service as places are limited.

Sunday services.
At present we are running two services each Sunday. Both are based upon the same theme and teaching, but tackle it in different ways. The service at 10.30am includes a talk on the topic, normally given by one of our ministers. The service at 3.00pm deals with the topic by encouraging family groups to discuss thoughts and questions posed by the service leader. This makes it far more suitable for families with children, particularly because at present we are unable to offer our usual children’s activities or crèche during the services. Both services will include a contemporary mix of worship songs and prayer, and they will last about an hour.

You will receive a warm welcome at any of our services. There is no need to wear formal clothing when you come to our church. An opportunity is provided to donate towards the work of the church at all services but we don’t want visitors to feel they have to contribute to our funds.

Please remember that Government regulations require all adults and older children to wear a face mask in church (unless medically exempt), that at present we are not allowed to join in with singing the worship songs, and you will be allocated seating to comply with social distancing guidelines. We’re taking all these precautions (and more) to reduce the risk to the congregation of contracting the Coronavirus whilst on our premises.

Preaching Programme

The current session’s programme (including dates that have already passed) is being kept on this website to show the range of subjects covered in the preaching programme.

Sermons can be listened to on the web (including an archive back to 2006), and CDs with the sermons on these subjects and from our extensive library can be purchased. Go to our “Current Teaching” page for more details.
