From 21st March we resumed holding public church services in our building. The format is quite different from pre-Covid services as we still need to protect people and comply with Government regulations. In particular, with only limited space available, to be sure of being able to get in people should pre-book their attendance (either via ChurchSuite or by phoning the church office) before lunchtime on the Friday before the service. Whilst we are in the early stages of the UK Government roadmap, we can only allow people to sit together who are in one household or support bubble.

At present we are running two services each Sunday. Both are based upon the same theme and teaching, but tackle it in different ways. The service at 10.30am includes a talk on the topic, normally given by one of our ministers. The service at 3.00pm deals with the topic by encouraging family groups to discuss thoughts and questions posed by the service leader. This makes it far more suitable for families with children, particularly because at present we are unable to offer our usual children’s activities or crèche during the services. Both services will include a contemporary mix of worship songs and prayer, and they will last about an hour. We hope to revert to one service with separate children’s activities from the implementation of Roadmap stage 4, which should be from Sunday 27th June.

Preaching Programme

The current session’s programme (including dates that have already passed) is being kept on this website to show the range of subjects covered in the preaching programme.

Sermons can be listened to on the web (including an archive back to 2010), and CDs with the sermons on these subjects and from our extensive library can be purchased. Go to our “Current Teaching” page for more details.
